This unusual piece is a German or Bavarian festival gun. This massive piece is 16" long, 9 1.2" barrel, a 90 cal bore and weighs in at a whopping 21.8 pounds. The lock is brass and is 7 1/2 inches in length. The barrel is very finely made with no markings. We have not found any markings whatsoever on the piece . Our information is that these unqiue pieces were used as festival blank guns in Germany. We are not sure but maybe the usage was directly related to the amount of beer that was consumed. A great piece for the German or the collector who want a very unique item. Dirty Harry eat your heart out. Antique
